Learn how to umpire - Community Umpire Training

(and a chance for some older junior players to earn some $)

The club has worked with Hockey SA to provide an umpire training program to give interested members their Community Umpire accreditation. The Community Umpire Training Program is designed to train umpires in the basic concepts of umpiring including umpiring roles and responsibilities; applying the basic hockey rules; safety and enjoyment.

It is an enjoyable and straightforward training program involving an online learning session, an applied learning quiz and a practical evaluation. The program is directed towards players, parents, teachers and other new umpires who are involved in Hook in2 Hockey, modified versions of the game or lower level club hockey.

2014 registrations are now open!

Registrations for the 2014 season are now open. All players (juniors, seniors, masters, grass) must be registered through this portal prior to taking to the field.

Returning members will be recognised by the system if you utilise the same email as last year.  If you have played with another SA hockey club in the last three years, please complete the clearance process prior to registering. If you are not sure which subscription category to select, please speak with your coach or team manager.

> Click here for Clearance form

Please take some time to read through the policies and declarations as these have been updated from last year.

The Committee has approved modest fee increases this year, as the costs of registering teams and hiring pitches for training have increased significantly. This will ensure the Club can cover participation expenses.

Subscriptions can be paid at the time of registration by Visa or Mastercard.  Please note this attracts an administration fee from the portal host. If you prefer to pay by direct debit, cheque or cash, please select “Submit Only” which will generate an invoice with details of the payment options.

All fees must be paid by 31 May 2014 in line with the Membership Subscription Policy. The policy can be viewed here. If you are unable to make payment by this date you should contact the Club Treasurer prior to the 31 May to discuss options.
