EOI – Premier League and Metro 1 Coaches

Forestville Hockey club are seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced coaches to lead our:

  • Premier League Women
  • Metro 1 Women

The coaching appointments are key parts of our effort to promote our club, and the sport of hockey,
in the southern suburbs of Adelaide. The club is lead by a proactive Board which has implemented a
range of initiatives to progress our vision. These initiatives include:

  • The appointment of Jamie Bahnisch as club Development Director to support club coaches
    and the development of our talented junior members
  • Our Junior Academy which provides off season skill and game development opportunities
    for our junior members
  • Pursuing the development of a new home for Forestville, with a new synthetic pitch, at
    Unley High School.

The coaches will work with a talented squad of players who are keen to develop and challenge for
success in the Premier League and Metro 1 competitions. The playing group includes a number of
players who have won selection in State junior teams and are participating in Hockey SA
development programs.

The club will consider appointing coaches for 1-3 years to support the coaches and the playing group
in developing together to achieve our objectives.

Applicant for the role of Premier League coach should either hold, or be prepared to obtain, Level 2
coaching qualifications. Applicants for the Metro 1 coaching role should hold Level 1 qualifications.

All applicants will be required to comply with Hockey SA rules and policies and must have, or be
prepared to gain Working with Children clearances.
