Forestville Hockey Club – Junior Development Scholarships

Each year, the FHC Junior Development Scholarships are awarded to two outstanding junior players — one male and one female — who consistently demonstrate a strong commitment to developing their hockey skills and striving to reach their full potential.

These scholarships are not about current performance alone, but about recognising the dedication, passion, and persistence shown by players who are genuinely invested in their growth, both on and off the field.

The award celebrates those who:

  • Show a genuine love for the game
  • Consistently work to improve, regardless of skill level
  • Display strong values such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and resilience
  • Represent the spirit and values of Forestville Hockey Club

This is our way of encouraging and acknowledging the effort and attitude that builds great players and great people.

This year the selection panel made up of Alyssa O’Donnell, Brenton Meigel and Peter Garlick selected the worthy recipients of the two Junior Development scholarships (formerly known as the junior academy scholarships) from nominations received from junior coaches and as such we are very pleased to announce that the winners for 2025 are:

 Mariella Siddle and Fergus Crawford
