Forestville Hockey Club runs the popular Hookin2Hockey Program developed by Hockey Australia.
Hookin2Hockey is aimed at primary school aged children giving children the opportunity to learn the basic skills of hockey in a fun environment.
Our members participate in the Hockey SA Schools Outreach Programs which takes the Hookin2Hockey to primary schools in our local area.

Forestville Hockey Club has teams in the Hockey SA Metropolitan Competition which is played between March and September each year.
Age groupings for these teams are as follows.
- Under 8’s – one quarter pitch, 7 aside, mixed competition.
- Under 10’s – Half pitch, 8 aside, mixed competition.
- Under 12’s – Full pitch, 11 a side, boys and girls competitions.
- Under 14’s- boys and girls competition
- Under 16’s – boys and girls competition
- Under 18’s- boys and girls competition.
These teams have practice once a week with the younger under 8 year olds training at our club rooms at Fairfax Ave Millswood and our older grades training at Christian Brother College Ifound St Adelaide.
Games are played at various locations based on fixtures set by Hockey SA traditionally on a Friday Night or Sunday Morning.
Forestville Hockey Club holds Junior Development Academies and skills workshops throughout the year assisting those children who are looking to develop their skills further, perhaps to a state, national or Olympic team level.

Hookin2Hockey Registrations can be upgraded to player registrations if your child decides to play for Forestville in the Metropolitan Junior Competition.
